A comforting, hassle-free dish packed with chicken, stuffing, broccoli, and a few other simple ingredients. A pretty easy and quick meal that is ready in 45 minutes.

I love chicken casserole, and this one here is one of my top favourites. A weeknight winner that my family enjoys so much. Without the fuss involved, you can make this comforting and hearty taste meal in a heartbeat!

Ingredients

1 box stuffing mix

1 1/2 c chicken, cooked and shredded

1 can cream of chicken soup

1 small onion, diced

1 medium carrot, grated

1.5 c chicken broth

1 c broccoli florets, steamed

1/2 c cheese, grated

salt and pepper to taste

How to make Chicken Stuffing Bake

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 400 degrees.

Step 2: Combine the stuffing mix, shredded cooked chicken, diced onion, shredded carrot, and steamed broccoli in a bowl and transfer into a greased baking dish.

Step 3: Whisk the chicken broth and soup in a different mixing bowl. And add this into the baking dish.

Step 4: Use foil to cover the dish and place inside the preheated oven. Bake for about 30 minutes.

Step 5: After 30 minutes, stir and sprinkle with grated cheese.

Step 6: Bake for 15 minutes more without the cover.

Step 7: Broil if you want crispy cheese for about 2 minutes.

Notes:

To have a perfectly steamed broccoli, add the florets in a microwave-safe bowl with half a cup of water. Cover using a paper towel and cook for about 30 to 60 seconds.

Be wary of the ingredients as some stuffing mixes like soups and broths have lots of salt already. Season with salt at the end according to taste.
