2 medium ripe pears
2 tsp brown sugar
2 tsp unsalted butter
1/4 c white grape or apple juice
6 Tbsp mascarpone cheese
2 tsp white sugar
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1. Preheat oven to 375
2. Halve pears lengthwise & core. Place cored side up in medium baking dish. Spoon 1/2 tsp. brown sugar & 1/2 tsp. butter into each cavity. Pour juice into baking dish and bake 25 minutes, until pears are tender.
3. Combine cheese, sugar & cinnamon.
4. Top each pear half with 1 1/2 tablespoons cheese mixture and serve warm.
