Ingredients

1/2 lb ground beef, (85/15)

1 c. corn

2/3 c. Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup

1 c. cheddar cheese, shredded and divided

1/3 c. whole milk

1/4 c. sour cream

1 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/2 c. bacon, cooked and crumbled

32 oz. tater tots

How to make Cowboy Casserole

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 375 degrees.

Step 2: Cook the beef in a large skillet over medium heat until browned.

Step 3: To the skillet, add the corn, cream of mushroom soup, half a cup cheese, milk, sour cream, onion powder, black pepper, and bacon. Stir well.

Step 4: Layer the beef in a 9 x 13-inch pan, top with cheese, and line the tater tots up.

Step 5: Place inside the preheated oven and bake for about 40 to 45 minutes, uncovered.

Step 6: Remove from the oven, sprinkle the rest of the cheese on top, and bake for 5 minutes more.
