this love of knowing true desire, Oh daylight came as cold to chill Beautiful picture.

FFP Poet Laureate, United Kingdom The star responded to a light Sunset zoomed under the moon, Evening plummeting into the night, Activities recede to the humble room.Morning mist wipe away the darker shade, Prowling fog lengthen inside the filtering dew, And baptism wash away the sins we made, To go into the fountain and be born anew.Watching the wrinkled leaves disappear And younger limbs fluid and boundless, Spring the smell of dream in the air, Taste the caramel sky stored in heavens closet.

The early morning mist and dewThe faintest sunlight shining through, The branches of the languid treesThat slowly forms this autumn frieze, With subtle shades as leaves now turnAnd fiery glows of amber burn, That warms the chill of breaking dawnUpon this late October morn. The silver birch in primrose standsIts trunk is flecked and striped with bands, While bracken frames this stony courseThat winds its way through thorny gorse, A carpet made of leaves and twigsWhile berries ripe on holly sprigs, Glow scarlet in the shade of nightAnd almost hidden from my sight. The air is still so hushed the soundAs leaves are falling to the ground, Like raindrops from a passing showerThey gather there beneath the bower, A squirrel roams the woodland floorWhile searching for some food to store, Amongst the span of empty huskHe seldom moves from dawn till dusk. When evening falls and shadows restAnd sunlight sinks within the west, Then soon descends the cold of nightBeneath the stars that shine so bright, A frost does form now winter nearsThat glistens like the fallen tears, Of autumn for its end is nighAs if to say its last goodbye.30/07/08, Fantastic poem Andrew, spectacular imagery throughout!
