Frosted Fudge Brownies

Cook time: 25 Min  Prep time: 15 Min  Serves: 24

Ingredients:

1 c butter
3 Tbsp butter
4 eggs
2 c sugar
1 1/2 c flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
3/4 c baking cocoa
1 tsp baking powder

FOR FROSTING:

6 Tbsp butter, softened
2 2/3 c powdered sugar
1/2 c baking cocoa
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 to 1/3 c milk

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350. Spray a 13 x 9 pan with nonstick cooking spray. In a saucepan, melt the butter. Remove from heat and stir in the cocoa. Let it cool.
2. In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs and sugar. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this mixture to the egg mixture. Stir in the vanilla and the cooled chocolate mixture. Mix well.
3. Spread the mix into the prepared pan. Bake at 350 for 25-28 minutes.
4. For frosting, in mixing bowl cream all ingredients together. Start with adding a 1/4 cup of milk in and if too thick, add a little more to achieve spreading consistency. Spread over cooled brownies. Yield: 24 brownies
