Ingredients:

3 cups all-purpose flour

2 cups sugar, white

1/3 cup baking cocoa

2 teaspoons baking soda

1 teaspoon salt

2 cups of water

3/4 cup vegetable oil or coconut oil

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

2 teaspoons vinegar

MY CHOCOLATE CREAM CHEESE FROSTING

1 package cream cheese softened

1/4 cup butter, you can use margarine in a pinch but use butter!

2 cups confectioners’ sugar

1/3 cup baker’s cocoa

dash(es) salt

3 Tablespoons milk

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:

Step 1: Add the flour, white sugar, cocoa, baking soda, and salt into a large mixing bowl. Whisk until well mixed.

Step 2: Add water, vanilla, vinegar, and oil. Beat until well combined and the texture becomes thin.

Step 3: Transfer the batter into a 13x9x2-inch cake pan and spread it evenly.

Step 4: Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.

Step 5: Place the pan inside the preheated oven and bake for about 25 to 30 minutes or until done.

Step 6: Remove the pan from the oven and let the cake sit at room temperature to cool completely.

To Make the Frosting:

Step 1: Add the cream cheese and sugar into a mixing bowl. Beat until well mixed.

Step 2: Add the rest of the ingredients for the frosting and beat until well combined.

Step 3: Spread the frosting all over the cooled cake.

Step 4: Serve and enjoy!
