My favorite “Lazy Housewife Apple Crisp” recipe. I’ll serve this warm with homemade vanilla ice cream after dinner tonight.
3 cans Apple Pie Filling
2 1/4 cup Oatmeal, I used Quick Oats
2 1/4 cups Flour
2 1/4 cups Brown Sugar
1 1/2 cups Melted Butter, 3 sticks
3/4 teaspoon Baking Soda
3/4 teaspoon Baking Powder
2 tablespoons Cinnamon
Mix all ingredients EXCEPT the pie filling and cinnamon together in a large bowl until well mixed.
Put approximately 2/3 in a 9 x 13 inch pan and pat down.
Pour 3 cans of apple pie filling on top and sprinkle with the cinnamon.
Take the remaining 1/3 mixture and crumble evenly over the pie filling.
Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 1 hour or when top is a golden brown.
