Oh, my! I have never tried anything like this before and I should say that it is already my favourite! I got this the other day from the internet and I am so glad that I gave it a try because I never would have tasted perfection! I have listed all the ingredients and directions so all you need to do is to follow them step by step and you are good to go! Have a blessed day, friends. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

1 pound ground beef

1 teaspoon sea salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper (omit for AIP)

1/3 c coconut aminos

1/4 c broth

1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar

2 teaspoons coconut sugar (omit for whole30)

1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon arrowroot starch

1 thumb ginger, grated

3 cloves garlic, minced

4 green onions, sliced into 1” slices

Directions:

Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.

Add the ground beef, salt, and pepper. Cook until crumbly and brown. Remove from the skillet onto a clean plate.

Leave 2 tablespoons of grease and discard the rest.

In a mixing bowl, add the apple cider vinegar, broth, aminos, arrowroot starch, and coconut sugar. Whisk until well mixed.

In the same skillet, add ginger and garlic, then saute until aromatic.

Add the sauce into the skillet and stir until well mixed. Allow the mixture to become thick.

Put the browned meat back to the skillet and stir until well coated with the sauce.

Toss in the green onions and stir until well mixed and soft.

Serve hot rice or mixed veggies. Enjoy!

Note:

I serve this over cauliflower rice but regular rice works fine as well.
