1 lb shrimp, raw shrimp
1 can(s) fake beer or real beer, any kind for steaming shrimp.
1/2 c Old Bay seasoning
FOR THE SALAD:
1 pkg elbow macaroni, cooked according to package.
2 stick stalks of celery, chopped
1/2 small onion, cut and diced
3 to 4 Tbsp Old Bay, again more or less according to taste
1 to 1 1/2 c mayonnaise, more or less depending on how creamy you want it
1. Steam Shrimp. If you have a rice steamer, great. If you have an insert for a pan, that will work. Put the beer in a pot in place of water. Add the steamer basket and fill with shrimp.
2. Pour in 1/2 cup of Old Bay seasoning. Cut up some onions and add. Cover with a lid. Place pot on stove top. Cook shrimp until pink (should be about 8 to 10 minutes on medium). When done, peel shrimp cut into two’s.
3. Now for the salad. Add shrimp to cooled cooked pasta and remaining ingredients. Cool in the fridge.
