1 can(s) (5 oz.) tuna, drained and flaked
3 Tbsp miracle whip®
1 tsp dijon mustard
1 tsp fresh chopped dill
1 tsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/4 tsp hot sauce such as cholula®, or to taste
freshly ground black pepper, to taste (i always use mixed peppercorns)
1 pinch ground himalayan sea salt
2 tsp green onions, finely chopped
1/8 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
2 medium dinner rolls, sliced
1/4 c sharp cheddar cheese, grated
1. Heat oven to broil and arrange a rack 6-inch from heating element.
2. In a bowl, combine all the ingredients. Spoon tuna mixture on top of 4 bread pieces; top with cheese. Place them on a baking sheet and broil triangles until cheese is JUST melted, 5 minutes. Serve garnished with chives.
